Logistics process management and standardization Responsibilities **Job Mission** Act as a strategic and analytical logistics reference, supporting the planning, control, and management of warehousing, shipping, and billing operations. Ensure operational efficiency, cost optimization, safety, regulatory compliance, and excellence in customer service level through structured data analysis, priority management, and process standardization, aligned with corporate guidelines and standardized across manufacturing units and best practices in the chemical/petrochemical sector. **Responsibilities*** Recommend operational and corporate decisions based on advanced data analysis, KPIs, and scenarios; * Monitor and analyze logistics performance indicators, prioritizing vehicle dwell time, schedule adherence, productivity, service level, and costs; * Support logistics flow and scheduling governance, promoting predictability, queue management, and improved service level; * Analyze, optimize, and control logistics costs and budgets, identifying deviations, trends, and opportunities for cost reduction and performance leverage; * Monitor performance of logistics partners and service providers, including off\-site operations, suggesting and, where applicable, implementing action plans and service improvements; * Map, develop, and validate technical scopes for logistics service procurement with leadership, including requirements, operational assumptions, and evaluation criteria; * Conduct market research focused on technical competitiveness, presenting opportunities to optimize the logistics matrix and supporting procurement, renegotiation, and service evolution decisions; * Investigate operational safety incidents, analyzing root causes, proposing corrective actions, and, where applicable, implementing contingency plans and tracking actions; * Monitor legal compliance and regulatory risks related to logistics and transportation of hazardous chemicals; * Develop and maintain periodic management reports to support business decisions; * Structure and standardize logistics operation processes, procedures, and flowcharts, considering both local and corporate perspectives; * Support change management by participating in the implementation of new processes, routines, and logistics initiatives; * Provide technical support to other units, strengthening corporate integration; * Proactively identify risks, nonconformities, and opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with internal policies and the Integrated Management System (IMS); * Participate in internal and external audits, collaborating on resolving open items and promoting standardization across manufacturing units; * Structure and support inventory management across units, defining monitoring routines and reports jointly with relevant departments and service providers. Requirements **Education*** Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields; * Postgraduate specialization in the field \- Preferred; * Advanced English; * Advanced Spanish \- Preferred. **Mandatory Knowledge** * Advanced Microsoft Office suite; * Data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., dashboards and management reports via Power BI or Tableau); * Logistics processes (inbound, outbound, warehousing, and shipping); * Logistics cost analysis and budgetary control; * KPI governance and standardization of corporate metrics; * Process mapping, flowcharts, and operational standardization; * SAP (LES and SD modules and transactions); * Integrated Management System (IMS) – applicable standards, policies, and requirements (ISOs, Responsible Care, SSMA, compliance, Halal, Kosher); * Logistics project and initiative management and implementation; * Legislation applicable to logistics and transportation of chemicals and hazardous materials.
