It will be an advantage if you have: * A technical course in Mechanics; * Experience with hydraulic systems; * Experience with ship unloading equipment; As a (Maintenance Mechanic), you will be responsible for: PERFORMING MAINTENANCE ON COMPONENTS, EQUIPMENT, AND INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY * Gather information from operators regarding the characteristics and operation of machines and processes; * Detect defects; * Interpret technical drawings; * Interpret measurements displayed on measuring instruments; * Measure dimensional parameters; * Replace parts; * Remove debris from parts and machines; * Assemble mechanical assemblies; * Level machines and mechanical assemblies; * Instruct operators on causes of breakdowns and defects; * Test machine functionality; * Refill the GMG fuel tank. * + EVALUATE OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS AND PERFORMANCE OF MACHINE COMPONENTS * Analyze operator-provided information. * + PLAN MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES * Verify availability of materials and tools; * Estimate maintenance time. * + LUBRICATE INDUSTRIAL MACHINES, COMPONENTS, AND TOOLS * Identify lubrication points; * Clear lubricant conduits; * Top up lubricant levels and quantities according to technical specifications; * Replace lubricants at intervals specified by their manufacturer; * Remove excess lubricant. * + DOCUMENT TECHNICAL INFORMATION * Request materials and components; * Record usage of parts and materials; * Record maintenance time; * Record modifications and improvements. * + IMPLEMENT QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION ACTIONS * Adapt components and accessories to improve industrial machine performance; * Identify opportunities for improvement; * Propose improvements to reduce costs; * Select parts and materials for disposal; * Direct materials and waste toward recycling; * Reuse raw material from replaced parts; * Prioritize use of non-polluting chemical products; * Propose development of devices to reduce accident risks; * Develop devices to reduce accident risks; * Know and apply SSMA (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) standards and procedures. * + WORK SAFELY * Use personal and collective protective equipment; * Signal equipment and machines undergoing maintenance; * Lock out machine operation; * Mark off the work area; * Illuminate specific work areas; * Keep the workplace clean and organized; * Maintain tools in good working condition; * Identify hazardous areas in the workplace; * Design devices to reduce accident risks. 2512130202201917687
