Agile Master

Description

**What we are looking for:** A Senior-level professional to act as Agile Master. **Responsibilities:** Responsible for ensuring excellence in the adoption and execution of the Agile (Scrum) methodology within the Data & Artificial Intelligence program on Azure Cloud, working closely with the Program Manager to ensure agile governance, operational fluidity, and high squad performance. Act as a technical and methodological reference for scaled Scrum, promoting alignment across multiple teams, removing systemic impediments, and ensuring the program’s continuous advancement in agile maturity. * Partner directly with the Program Manager to support agile governance of the Data & AI program. Lead, guide, and monitor the Scrum Masters of the squads, ensuring consistent application of the Scrum framework. * Ensure proper execution of agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement), maintaining cadence and predictability. * Support Product Owners in backlog management and prioritization, ensuring alignment between business objectives, the program roadmap, and incremental deliveries. * Identify, address, and escalate agile impediments and risks impacting team performance or achievement of program objectives. * Promote integration among Data Engineering, Data Science, AI, MLOps, and Azure Cloud squads, mitigating dependencies and silos. * Monitor and analyze agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, lead time, throughput), supporting data-driven decision-making. * Act as an agent of continuous improvement, promoting agile best practices, effective retrospectives, and team maturity evolution. * Contribute to structured communication of status, risks, and agile progress to program governance. **Requirements:** * Agile Scrum methodology (Scrum Master, Scaled Scrum). Agile coaching practices and team facilitation. Agile governance in complex programs and regulated environments. Management of dependencies across multiple squads. Agile metrics and support for decision-making.
