The oil changer is responsible for changing lubricating oil and filters in vehicles, as well as other tasks related to the maintenance and preservation of the lubrication system. Activities include oil replacement, oil and air filter changes, checking fluid levels, lubricating components, and organizing and cleaning the work area. * **Oil Change:** Perform lubricating oil changes for the engine, transmission, differential, and other components according to vehicle specifications. * **Filter Replacement:** Replace oil, air, and fuel filters as needed. * **Level Checks:** Check fluid levels such as brake fluid, coolant, and power steering fluid, and refill when necessary. * **Lubrication:** Apply grease and other lubricants to specific points on the vehicle as indicated by the manufacturer. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Conduct visual inspections and tests to identify maintenance needs and ensure proper vehicle operation. * **Cleaning and Organization:** Maintain a clean and organized work area, taking care of tools and equipment. * **Customer Service:** Assist customers in selecting the appropriate oil and filters and answer questions about vehicle maintenance. * **Product Sales:** In some cases, the oil changer may also be responsible for presenting and selling automotive maintenance products such as additives and other fluids.
