MAGNA EXECUTIVE SEARCH, in partnership with a large multinational company, is seeking: **MECHANICAL TECHNICAL ASSISTANT** Requirements: * Mechanical Maintenance Technician or related field. Pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or similar disciplines is considered an advantage. * Additional specialized training courses are desirable. * Technical field experience servicing chemical, petrochemical, or similar companies, specifically for inspection, verification, and maintenance of mechanical seals, packing, and expansion joints. * Availability to work on-site at an industrial facility located in the border area between Mauá/SP and Santo André/SP. Key Responsibilities: * Perform field services by executing scheduled inspection rounds in the client’s industrial area as defined in the contract, proactively identifying potential deviations from critical equipment operating parameters and defining corrective actions to ensure continuous plant operation—especially “Saving Seals.” * Disassemble and assemble mechanical seals and associated components, critically analyzing and evaluating parts requiring rework or replacement. * Prepare repair assessments in the current TOTVS system and issue Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports—including detailed descriptions, photos, and drawings of parts to be replaced—based on observed evidence. * Clearly state failure causes in reports along with improvement recommendations to prevent recurrence. * Assemble and commission mechanical seals and API piping plans with the client. * Actively participate in meetings with the client. * Actively participate in Contract Review Meetings (CRM). * Identify key operational gaps at the unit level to support the development of technical solutions. * Collaborate with internal departments to implement required solutions and fully fulfill assigned objectives. * Manage internal logistics necessary for process execution—including tracking seals requiring repair, obtaining client approval or rejection of budgets, issuing Work Orders (WOs), scheduling services to better meet client needs, and ensuring internal resource availability. **The hiring company values diversity in all its forms.
