Systemic view of industrial processes and technical maturity We seek a Process Engineer \- Specialist to join the Biomethane Engineering team, with strategic involvement in the technical development of new projects and optimization of existing units. This position will play a central role in the structuring and technical maturation of projects, acting from preliminary studies through basic engineering, with strong multidisciplinary interface and active participation in technical and economic business decisions. We seek a professional with high analytical capacity, systemic view of industrial processes, and technical maturity to lead discussions, structure comparative analyses, and support technical recommendations to leadership. **Responsibilities and Duties** Will act across different phases of biomethane project development—from preliminary studies to basic engineering—providing technical input for decision-making and project maturation. **Preliminary Studies** * Evaluate new opportunities for biogas energy recovery. * Collect and analyze process data, exploring applicable technological alternatives for each scenario. * Support industrial layout studies and environmental licensing processes. * Contribute to Capex and Opex estimates (Class 5\). * Support preparation of technical\-economic feasibility studies (TEFS). **Conceptual Design** * Define the most suitable processing technologies for the project. * Interact with suppliers to understand technical requirements and obtain proposals. * Prepare preliminary technical documentation, such as RFQs, block flow diagrams (BFD), and descriptive memoranda. * Identify technical risks, assumptions, and project uncertainties. **Basic Engineering** * Review and approve process technical documentation, including PFDs, P\&IDs, and process descriptions. * Participate in risk analyses (HAZOP), multidisciplinary reviews, and 3D model reviews (30%, 60%, and 90%). * Support pre\-operation phase, including activities related to PATEC, ADF, and other commissioning preparation stages. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering. **Experience** * Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in industrial projects and/or operational plants. * Solid experience with gas treatment processes (H₂S removal, CO₂/N₂ separation, dehydration, among others). * Experience in technical\-economic analyses and structuring feasibility studies. * Experience with biogas and/or biomethane is considered a significant advantage. **Technical Skills** * Technical leadership and decision\-making capability. * Experience in multidisciplinary environments. * Advanced Excel. * Knowledge of AutoCAD. * Desired: experience with process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS or equivalents). **Location** * Must reside in São Paulo, with easy access to Berrini and Barueri areas. * Availability for occasional travel. **Behavioral Competencies** * Analytical and structured profile. * Strategic vision and results orientation. * Proactivity and ownership mindset. * Strong communication and technical influence skills. **Additional Information** **Benefits** * Medical Assistance * Dental Assistance * Gym Allowance * Pharmacy Allowance * Christmas Basket * Life Insurance * Meal or Food Voucher * Transportation Voucher #### **Transformation is part of human essence.** #### **Every evolutionary process is driven by change.
