We are looking for a professional to join our Compliance team, responsible for ensuring that activities and operations comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor legal/regulatory developments by tracking changes and updates to applicable laws and regulations, ensuring timely dissemination of updates to relevant departments and enabling process adjustments per legal/regulatory requirements. * Analyze Due Diligence/Background Check results through comprehensive evaluation to identify potential risks to which the company is exposed. * Ensure comprehensive compliance training materials remain current by conducting research, consolidating, and formatting materials, thereby keeping employees informed of the company’s latest policies and regulations. * Map processes with a focus on risk identification and remediation of deficiencies, through understanding of executed processes, to proactively identify risks and mitigate potential losses. * Review and update compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines through critical analysis, detailed research, and collaboration, ensuring alignment with regulatory practices. * Investigate reports submitted via the whistleblowing channel by impartially and objectively analyzing all collected evidence, ensuring independent and timely handling of reports. * Prepare reports and/or presentations featuring compliance metrics by organizing data, information, and quantitative and qualitative analyses to support leadership decision-making. * Act as a trainer and/or reference for other team members through training and/or guidance, enabling optimal use of work tools and resources to achieve results. * Perform other related and inherent professional duties as required by departmental needs and/or demands, whenever necessary, through training, professional qualification, and guidance from the immediate supervisor, ensuring continuous professional development. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Law, or related fields. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Knowledge of LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law) and compliance legislation and regulations. * Professional experience in compliance, including Due Diligence processes, compliance policy development, and training. * Customer focus, professionalism, collaboration, innovation, analytical ability, assertive communication, organization, decision-making, and technical leadership. **Additional Information** * Health and dental insurance * Life insurance * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance * Profit-sharing program (PLR) * Wellhub * Wellz * Day off * Discounts on personal insurance contracts, including auto, life, home, travel, and others. **Here, you define your own growth and the scale of your achievements.** MDS is one of the leading insurance brokerage firms in Brazil, operating across insurance, reinsurance, benefits management, and risk consulting.
