Job Summary: Kitchen Assistant to perform food pre-preparation, kitchen sanitation, inventory organization, and general support to chefs. Key Highlights: 1. Perform pre-preparation and organization of ingredients 2. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene 3. Provide essential support to chefs during dish preparation * Wash, peel, cut, chop, or grate food items as instructed. * Sort and organize ingredients to be used in recipes. * Assist in preparing sauces, broths, doughs, and other basic items. **Sanitation and Cleaning** * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, countertops, utensils, and equipment. * Wash pots, cutlery, plates, and other materials used in food preparation. * Strictly adhere to food hygiene and safety standards. **Organization and Inventory** * Assist in storing and organizing supplies and food items. * Check product expiration dates and quality. * Help control waste. **General Kitchen Support** * Assist chefs during dish preparation and finishing. * Restock workstations with ingredients and utensils. * Carry out instructions from the chef or responsible cook promptly and attentively.
