**Job Category** ================ Production & Skilled Trades**Position Summary** ==================== Monitor and control the operation of boilers, compressors, pumps, and other equipment in the utility system by reading charts, panels, meters, and other indicators (pressure and temperature), as well as water, air, and chemical consumption.**Responsibilities** ==================== * Control steam output and distribution via valves and isolation devices, following operational procedures to ensure adequate supply to the production process; * Perform water treatment operations and prepare chemical charges for boilers, contact tanks, and the system according to technical specifications, activating agitators to ensure water quality and maintain efficiency in the value-generation process; * Collect water and oil samples for analysis in accordance with quality standards, and perform readings of water consumption indicators, resin levels, and other parameters, recording data and executing necessary operational maneuvers to ensure input compliance and maintain operational stability; * Conduct measurements and refueling of oil tanks for UH units, verifying temperature and consumption, and controlling distribution via isolation devices and valves to guarantee continuous supply to factory equipment; * Monitor air compressor operation, performing hourly pressure and temperature readings to identify anomalies and prevent operational failures; * Lubricate isolation devices, pumps, and other components and equipment in the area using appropriate lubricants to ensure preservation and safe operation. * Verify pressures and temperatures across the entire factory area, including vulcanization press towers and basements, to ensure optimal operating conditions; * Perform monitoring, recording, and reading of indicators, charts, panels, and instruments in the boiler and utilities area to maintain historical records, support operational decision-making, and promote identification and documentation of issues related to product, process, or system quality—supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement; * Comply with environmental management, occupational health and safety regulations, and be familiar with procedures for selective waste collection, internal communication, and emergency response to ensure legal and corporate compliance. **Minimum Qualifications** ========================== * Education: Completed Technical Degree in Petrochemical Processes and/or Mechanical, Electrotechnical, Chemical, Instrumentation, or Process Automation; * NR-13 Certification Course (40-hour certificate); * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; * Availability to work rotating shifts. **Desirable:** * SAP knowledge **What we offer as a company** At Bridgestone, what truly matters is generating opportunities for co-creation while stimulating your curiosity and creativity to make mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable for present and future generations.
