Job Summary: We are seeking an innovative and culinary-passionate professional to prepare and finish food items while ensuring quality, hygiene, and kitchen organization, and guiding the team. Do you fit this profile? **Responsibilities and Duties** Prepare food according to the menu, observing cooking methods, flavor, texture, temperature, and presentation; Perform pre-preparation, preparation, and finishing of dishes, controlling timing and quality; Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment in accordance with sanitary inspection regulations and food safety practices (Good Manufacturing Practices); Monitor usage and replenishment of supplies to avoid waste; Control quantity and quality during preparation; supervise and guide kitchen assistant staff regarding tasks; Receive and properly store foodstuffs; Collaborate with kitchen assistants and helpers, guiding and assigning tasks as needed; Comply with safety, hygiene, cleaning, and food and workplace preservation standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** High school diploma completed (a technical course in Cooking or Gastronomy is a plus); Experience in professional kitchens (restaurants, cafeterias, hotels, etc.); Knowledge of cooking techniques and Good Manufacturing Practices for Food Handling; Availability for on-site work in Camaçari/BA. **Additional Information** At BYD, we prioritize our employees’ well-being and continuously strive to improve our benefits package.
