We are in a phase of rapid growth for our technology team and seeking a mid-level developer capable of delivering high-quality work, with strong expertise in PHP and WordPress, who enjoys working in a startup environment — agile, collaborative, and highly impactful on people's lives. **Essential Requirements** ● Proven experience (minimum 3 years) developing PHP applications in production environments. ● Experience with WordPress: theme customization, plugin development, API usage, and integrations. ● Experience with JavaScript and Ajax. ● Backend best practices: knowledge of MVC or PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, or similar) is a plus. ● Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent), version control (Git), staging/production environments, and deployment processes. ● Ability to work independently, with strong organizational skills, results orientation, and collaborative spirit within the team. ● Strong communication and alignment between technical and business needs: ability to translate requirements, discuss solutions, and explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders. ● Continuous improvement mindset, with emphasis on code quality, performance, and security. ● Experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies. **Desirable Qualifications** ● Prior experience in startups, SaaS companies, or fast-growing environments. ● Laravel ● Experience optimizing WordPress for high performance (caching, query optimization, etc.). ● Genuine interest in mental health topics. **Responsibilities** Job Mission: You will be responsible for implementing continuous improvements to our platform, developing PHP features, WordPress customizations and integrations — ensuring quality, performance, and usability.
