Job Summary: We are seeking a Systems Analyst to join our technology team, consolidating our modern data architecture on Azure and building cloud-based microservice architecture, with a focus on robust solutions and collaboration. We currently have an opportunity for a **Systems Analyst** to join our technology team at a strategic moment for the company: consolidating our modern data architecture on Azure and building cloud-based microservice architecture. If you enjoy building robust solutions, working in collaborative environments, tackling technical challenges with enthusiasm, and want to be a key driver in evolving a comprehensive system integration ecosystem, this role is for you! **Working Hours:** Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Fridays, 7:45 AM to 12:00 PM. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Actively participate in designing and implementing microservice architecture on Azure; * Develop and maintain microservices in Java and Python that support business operations; * Maintain and enhance data extraction and transformation infrastructure (Azure Synapse), collaborating with vendors when necessary; * Build, maintain, and evolve system integrations via REST APIs, TOTVS ERP, and other platforms; * Propose and implement continuous improvements to systems, integrations, and architectural standards; * Lead system and new integration projects from conception through delivery; * Manage the full system lifecycle (conception, development, deployment, and maintenance); * Manage software development vendors; * Support operational stability, ensuring solution availability and performance; * Provide technical support and handle incident tickets related to systems and integrations; * Apply software development best practices such as clean code, testing, and code review; * Work with observability (logs, metrics, monitoring) to ensure system health; * Use Git for version control and team collaboration. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Master’s degree in Information Technology or related fields currently in progress; * Experience with Java and Python; * Hands-on experience in data extraction and transformation (data pipelines, ETL/ELT); * Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, and ability to write complex queries; * Experience integrating systems via REST APIs; * Familiarity with microservices and distributed architecture; * Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud; * Proficiency in Git for source code versioning. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Experience with Data Lake, especially Azure Synapse; * Knowledge of observability tools such as Application Insights, Grafana, and Prometheus; * Experience with messaging software and protocols; * Experience with Datasul ERP; * Experience using automation in development, including RPA and AI. **Additional Information** **Check out some benefits of joining Mercur:** * 36-hour weekly work schedule; * Health and dental insurance (also for dependents); * Pharmacy reimbursement (also for dependents); * Early childhood education reimbursement; * Education reimbursement; * On-site medical care for employees working at Santa Cruz do Sul facilities; * Organic-based lunch served in our own cafeteria for employees working at Santa Cruz do Sul facilities; * Transportation allowance; * Birthday and Christmas gifts; * Exclusive discount on Mercur products; * Welhub; * Workplace gymnastics; * Spaces dedicated to holistic health; * Partnership with SESI, offering access to vaccines, gym, group classes, early childhood education, after-school programs, EJA (Education for Youth and Adults), and leisure spaces (also for dependents).
