Collaboration in system architecture and design ### **What We’re Looking For:** A Senior Backend Python Developer with strong experience in API integration and modern software engineering practices, to work in a complex international environment focused on performance, scalability, and quality. ### **Responsibilities:** * Develop APIs and integrations using modern Python frameworks; * Collaborate with technical teams in defining system architecture and design; * Ensure code quality through testing (unit, integration, and end\-to\-end); * Apply best practices for technical documentation (diagrams, workflows, and architecture); * Optimize system performance, implement caching, and drive continuous improvements; * Build scalable and efficient solutions following software engineering principles; * Collaborate on deployment, maintenance, and evolution of systems; ### **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Strong experience with Python; * Knowledge of API frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask); * Experience with testing using Pytest (unit, integration, and end\-to\-end); * Experience with Azure Cloud platforms; * Familiarity with version control tools (Git); * Solid understanding of software design, architecture, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC); * Experience documenting systems and processes (diagrams, flowcharts, architecture); * Knowledge of system design and web application development; * Familiarity with practices such as TDD (Test Driven Development); ### **Nice-to-Have:** * Experience with data tools (Pandas, PySpark, Polars); * Experience in the financial sector; * Knowledge of containers; * Experience with CI/CD pipelines; * Knowledge of exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling; * Knowledge of C\# and Microsoft stack; * Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields; * Full-stack experience and production environment exposure; * Ability to lead the design and development of robust, scalable systems; * Knowledge of Clean Architecture; With over 35 years in the market and operations in 16 countries, GFT employs more than 12\.000 people worldwide, including 4\.000 in Brazil.
