SEEL Engenharia is seeking a Quality Technician for field work in the hydroelectric sector, in partnership with SPIC Brasil. We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong field presence, responsible for ensuring that executed processes, materials, and services strictly comply with quality standards, technical norms, and contractual project requirements.
**Quality Technician – Hydroelectric Project \| SPIC Brasil**
**Responsibilities:**
* Conduct inspections, verifications, and periodic field evaluations during all construction phases, ensuring compliance with quality standards, technical norms, and project specifications;
* Review technical documents, designs, execution procedures, drawings, specifications, and inspection plans, identifying potential deviations or non-conformities;
* Plan, coordinate, monitor, and record tests, trials, and technological controls of materials, components, structures, and systems, ensuring adherence to established requirements;
* Control and maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, trials, checklists, reports, and non-conformities, ensuring full document traceability;
* Identify quality deviations, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities, collaborating with involved teams to implement corrective and preventive actions;
* Provide technical support to production, engineering, and supplier teams, promoting guidance on required quality standards;
* Deliver quality-related instructions and training, reinforcing procedures, best practices, and operational awareness;
* Actively participate in continuous improvement programs, contributing to process optimization, reduction of rework and waste, and increased efficiency;
* Prepare periodic quality performance reports, indicators, trend analyses, statistical controls, and management presentations;
* Collaborate closely with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Production, and Project Management departments to align quality practices;
* Develop spreadsheets, dashboards, charts, and controls for tracking results and supporting decision-making;
* Ensure compliance with institutional standards, safety and occupational health procedures, hygiene, and workplace organization;
* Perform other related duties as required by the project and management directives.
**Requirements:**
* Technical education in Quality, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Road Construction, or related fields;
* Prior experience in this role, including field work and quality process monitoring on construction sites;
* Experience in inspections, testing, technological controls, technical documentation, and non-conformance management;
* Ability to read and interpret designs, technical drawings, and specifications;
* Experience preparing reports, indicators, spreadsheets, charts, and quality controls;
* Knowledge of technical standards, inspection procedures, and continuous improvement practices;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
* Analytical, organized, detail-oriented profile with strong interpersonal communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in hydroelectric projects, dams, energy, or heavy infrastructure;
* Familiarity with quality management systems, audits, and technological control processes.
