MACHINE OPERATOR (AUTOMATIC SANDER)

Description

Job Summary: Operate and monitor automatic sanding machines to ensure finishing quality and perform basic maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Experience operating automatic sanders or similar equipment 2. Knowledge of metrology and technical drawing interpretation 3. Skill in basic preventive maintenance and quality control #### **Responsibilities** * Operate automatic sanding machines following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical specifications. * Monitor the sanding process, adjusting parameters such as speed, pressure, and sandpaper type according to material and desired finish. * Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and component inspection. * Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to configure the machine according to product specifications. * Ensure part finishing quality by conducting visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments. #### **Requirements** * Proven experience (minimum 6 months) operating industrial machinery, preferably automatic sanders or similar equipment. * Completed elementary education. * Basic knowledge of metrology and use of measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer). * Ability to interpret technical drawings and process specifications. * Capability to perform adjustments and minor repairs on industrial equipment. * Familiarity with occupational safety standards and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Availability to work rotating shifts. #### **Skills** * Automatic Sander Operation * Technical Drawing Reading and Interpretation * Metrology (Caliper, Micrometer) * Basic Preventive Maintenance * Visual Quality Control * Machine Parameter Adjustment * Industrial Safety ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Meal Allowance, Cafeteria, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Transportation Allowance, Profit Sharing and Results Program ### **Department:** Manufacturing \- Headquarters
