Actively participates in planning and discussions of business rules **About the team:** Our team is responsible for developing internal systems and portals for BTG Pactual Empresas’ digital retail platform, with a particular focus on receivables advance products. The team engages in all phases of new feature development and collaborates closely with the business team to design credit solutions for companies across Brazil. Currently, we are seeking a Software Engineer to join our new project: the development of our own BTG Pay payment terminal. We value continuous learning, teamwork, and resilience in the workplace. **Your day-to-day responsibilities:** You will develop new features to meet the demands of our business team and BTG Pay payment terminal customers, as well as maintain existing features to ensure the best user experience. To ensure delivery quality, you will implement and maintain automated tests, follow software development best practices, and uphold scalability and performance of developed features. Beyond development, you are expected to actively participate in meetings and planning sessions for the product’s business rules, bringing a technical perspective to support and enrich discussions. Finally, you will use programming languages, tools, IDEs, and libraries approved by BTG Pactual—including Datadog, AWS services, .NET, C#, and Azure DevOps. **What we expect from you:** * Experience in software development with a backend focus—C# language and .NET Framework; * Experience with databases—PostgreSQL and SQL Server; * Experience with modern CI/CD, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies; * Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and software quality best practices; * Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with leadership, clients, and business areas; * Availability for hybrid work—2 or 3 days per week—at our office located at Av. Brigadeiro Faria Lima, São Paulo; * Completed undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
