Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary: Lead the team technically, define architecture and design, collaborate with departments and stakeholders, plan sprints, and implement continuous improvements to ensure quality and delivery. Collaborate and plan with teams to align requirements and priorities. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Technical Leadership: Assist the team with complex problems and critical decisions regarding system architecture and design, as well as review code to maintain quality and standards. * Architecture and Design: Develop and maintain system architecture by promoting sound software design and engineering practices. * Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate communication between the development team and other company departments; work with Product Managers, UX Designers, and others to align technical and functional requirements. * Planning and Prioritization: Participate in sprint planning, helping define priorities and estimate effort. It is important to help establish clear deadlines jointly with the Product Manager. * Quality and Continuous Improvement: Implement practices such as automated testing and CI/CD. Support the team’s continuous development and ensure deliveries meet defined acceptance criteria. **Requirements and Qualifications** * In-depth knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript, Golang, Python. Experience developing REST APIs, preferably using these stacks. * Solid knowledge of Git, ideally using GitHub. * Experience with domain-driven design. * Experience using relational and non-relational databases. * Habit of writing integration and unit tests. * Experience working with Continuous Deployment. * Familiarity with and usage of Docker (*containerization*). * Strong fundamentals in imperative and object-oriented programming. * Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures. * Ability to take open-ended and ambiguous requirements and translate them into a solution within the application. * Practical experience with Google Cloud Provider and Cloud Run. * Knowledge of Linux Shell Scripting. * Knowledge of *event sourcing* and how to build services in this paradigm. ### **Our Benefits** * Remote work model. * Caju benefits card: VR/VA. * Health insurance with no co-payment. * Dental insurance with no co-payment. * Childcare allowance. * Extended maternity and paternity leave. * Wellhub.
