Key Responsibilities * **Database Development and Maintenance:** Design and implement relational database schemas. Develop, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries. * **Performance Optimization:** Analyze and optimize query performance (query tuning), ensuring fast response times and efficient use of database server resources (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL). * **System Integration:** Collaborate on API development and integration of legacy and modern systems, ensuring efficient and secure data communication. * **Requirements Analysis:** Work closely with business analysts and end users to understand requirements and translate them into feasible technical solutions. * **Quality and Testing:** Create and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and robustness of developed solutions, adhering to established coding standards. * **Documentation:** Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for databases, processes, and systems. * **Support and Troubleshooting:** Participate in identifying and resolving issues in production and development environments (troubleshooting).
