Mentor junior developers and establish frontend standards Hiring Company: Avantti Tecnologia Work Model: Remote Location: Brazil **Advanced English required** **About the Opportunity** Avantti Tecnologia is looking for a Frontend Architect / Senior Frontend Engineer to work on high-performance headless e-commerce projects using Next.js and commercetools within a modern, scalable, and composition-oriented ecosystem (Composable Commerce). You will be the key contributor in defining frontend architecture, delivering complex features, and disseminating technical best practices. Requirements: **Responsibilities** Architecture & Development: Lead the design and implementation of a headless frontend using Next.js and commercetools Frontend (Frontastic) or custom integrations via SDK. Performance & Scalability: Implement advanced Next.js strategies such as SSG (Static Site Generation) and ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration), ensuring sub-1-second load times and excellent Core Web Vitals metrics. Feature Ownership: Develop complex e-commerce functionalities, including: Dynamic Product Listing Pages (PLP) Multi-step checkouts Customized user account dashboards API Orchestration: Work with Node.js and GraphQL/REST to integrate commercetools, headless CMS (e.g., Contentful), and third-party services (payments, ERP, search). Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and define frontend standards (testing, accessibility, documentation). Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with UI/UX teams to translate high-fidelity wireframes into reusable and modular React components. **Technical Requirements** commercetools: Solid experience with Product, Cart, Order, and Customer APIs, as well as the Merchant Center. Experience with commercetools Frontend (Studio / Frontastic) is a strong plus. React & Next.js: Proficiency in React 18+, Next.js 14/15, TypeScript, and state management (Zustand, Redux, or React Query). Node.js: Strong hands-on experience in server-side development, APIs, middleware, or routing using Node.js and Express. Headless Architecture / Composable Commerce: Experience integrating headless CMS, Search (Algolia / Elastic), and DAM. Quality & Testing: Practical knowledge of Jest, React Testing Library, and/or Cypress. Tools & DevOps: Git CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Vercel) CSS-in-JS (Tailwind, Styled Components) **Nice-to-Haves** Experience with MACH Alliance principles Knowledge of Accessibility (A11y) and SEO for e-commerce commercetools certifications (Functional Analyst or Developer)
