Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Programmer responsible for programming, testing, and maintaining computer programs, using requirements gathering and system analysis. Key Highlights: 1. Experience with Orbital Remote Sensing and Aerial Photogrammetry 2. Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems development and support 3. Focus on software programming, testing, and maintenance Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multi-purpose Technical Registers (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and occupation, among others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are seeking a Junior Programmer to be responsible for programming, testing, and maintaining computer programs, using requirements gathering and analyses performed by systems analysts as supporting inputs. REQUIREMENTS Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuration and usage of GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server tools; Knowledge of APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with OpenLayers or Leaflet libraries. Professional profile: proactive, helpful, with a strong desire to continuously acquire new knowledge..
