Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Programmer responsible for programming, testing, and maintaining computer programs, using requirements gathering and analyses performed by systems analysts as supporting inputs. Key Highlights: 1. Knowledge of Remote Sensing, Aerial Photogrammetry, and GIS 2. Development and support of Geographic Information Systems 3. Experience with geospatial technologies and PostGIS databases Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multi-purpose Technical Registers (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and land cover, among others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are seeking a Junior Programmer responsible for programming, testing, and maintaining computer programs, using requirements gathering and analyses performed by systems analysts as supporting inputs. REQUIREMENTS Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English proficiency; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuration and usage of GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server tools; Knowledge of APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with the OpenLayers or Leaflet libraries. Professional profile: proactive, helpful, and eager to periodically acquire new knowledge.
