Job Summary: A professional responsible for assembling, installing, operating, and maintaining audiovisual equipment for events, ensuring proper functionality and necessary infrastructure. Equipment maintenance and preservation **Duties and Responsibilities** Assemble and/or install audiovisual equipment (sound systems, overhead projectors, data projectors, DVDs, and similar devices) Prepare the necessary infrastructure for events and reserve such equipment for scheduled events; Operate audiovisual equipment; Install speakers and microphones in appropriate locations; Connect amplifiers using electrical connectors; Test installations by making appropriate connections; Assemble and install sound systems, overhead projectors, data projectors, DVDs, and similar devices; Operate audiovisual equipment, including video projection; Support events or productions requiring audiovisual resources; Attend events utilizing such equipment when necessary; Maintain and preserve equipment under their responsibility; Perform minor equipment maintenance tasks; Control equipment circulation by recording movements in appropriate documentation; Ensure safekeeping, preservation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment, instruments, materials, and the workplace; Stay updated on technological trends and innovations within their field and departmental/sector needs.
