Job Summary:
A professional responsible for nesting studies and fabric utilization optimization, plotting, and assisting in pattern analysis and development under supervision within the textile industry.
Key Highlights:
1. Experience in the role and familiarity with the textile industry are required.
2. Proficiency in pattern-making software (Lectra) and knowledge of cutting room operations.
3. Involvement in the cutting process, calculations, and pattern development.
**Location: Blumenau** .
**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Receive and analyze the initial nesting study and compare it against the fabric to be used;
* Conduct fabric utilization studies using proprietary software tools to minimize material waste;
* Plot full and mini nestings in the required number of plies to complete the production order and deliver them to the Cutting Department;
* Assist in analyzing sample data and components to be produced;
* Develop patterns under supervision and perform adjustments as directed;
* Participate in the initial nesting study during the cutting process, performing calculations and utilizing software tools under supervision;
* Perform other tasks of equivalent complexity as required by the department/company;
* Fully comply with safety, quality, organization, and cleanliness standards.
**Requirements to Apply:**
* Completed undergraduate degree;
* Relevant work experience in the role;
* Experience in the textile industry;
* Knowledge of cutting room operations, sewing, and pattern-making software (Lectra).
