Responsibilities and Duties * Inspect materials according to product type and quantity specified in the production order; * Operate mixers following mixing and safety procedures; * Feed and operate twin-screw extruders in accordance with operating and safety procedures; * Perform extrusion and produce test specimens for color evaluation using a spectrophotometer; * Adjust formulations as needed, with support from the Colorist or Quality Department; * Package, palletize, and identify materials; * Record production parameters on the production order; * Perform setup activities during color and material changes, both on mixers and extruders—including peripherals; * Enter production orders, non-productive hours, losses, and identification label creation into the Protheus system; * Record production data—pertaining to the production order—in spreadsheets; * Maintain sector organization and cleanliness, applying the 5S methodology and continuous improvement principles; * Preferred qualifications: experience operating extruders, knowledge of colorimetry and spectrophotometry, absence of color blindness, and proficiency in mathematical calculations and percentages.
