




Description: The Masterbatch Operator is the professional responsible for carrying out the entire masterbatch production cycle, ensuring mixing, extrusion, color quality control, and accurate recording of production data. This role requires strict verification of materials, knowledge of mixer and twin-screw extruder operation, and skill in formulation adjustments and use of measurement equipment (spectrophotometer), always complying with safety procedures. Responsibilities and Duties * Verification of materials according to product and quantity specified in the production order; * Operation of mixers following mixing and safety procedures; * Feeding and operation of twin-screw extruder machines, according to operation and safety procedures; * Extrusion and preparation of test specimens for color evaluation using a spectrophotometer; * Adjustment of formulation when necessary, with support from the Colorist or Quality Department; * Packaging, palletizing, and identification of materials; * Recording of production parameters on the production order; * Performing setup during color and material changes, both in the mixer and in the extruder and peripherals; * Recording production orders, non-productive hours, losses, and preparation of identification labels in the Protheus system; * Recording production data in spreadsheets, related to the production order; * Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the area, applying the 5S methodology and continuous improvement; * Desired: knowledge of extruder operation, colorimetry and spectrophotometry, absence of color blindness, ease with mathematical operations and percentages. Requirements and Qualifications * Completed high school education; * Prior experience operating extruders and masterbatches, colorimetry and spectrophotometry, absence of color blindness, ease with mathematical operations and percentages.
