Application of lens treatments and coloring **Generalist Description:** Assist in cutting and finishing lens blanks according to orders, selecting tools, requisitioning raw materials, and preparing machines, equipment, and materials for movement along the production line. Monitor cutting and finishing processes, inspect and classify raw materials and finished products, correct process anomalies, and track achievement of production targets. Perform cutting, grinding, polishing, and engraving. Assemble, disassemble, adjust, test, and calibrate precision instruments for measurement and control. Record technical information and incidents. **Professional Qualifications:** * Mandatory educational requirement: Currently enrolled in elementary school; * Preferred educational requirement: Completed elementary school; basic computer skills; * Assist in product industrialization processes; * Prepare lenses for processing; * Apply lens protection (tape); * Perform lens blocking; * Carry out lens roughing; * Perform necessary calculations for production; * Monitor lenses during finishing (sanding); * Clean lenses; * Store molds in their designated locations; * Forward lenses to the verification department; * Read frame specifications; * Color lenses according to customer models, always considering the material being processed; * Apply treatments such as anti-abrasive coating, video filter, and ultraviolet protection; * Remove anti-reflective (AR) coating when requested; * Prepare lenses for cutting; * Initiate and complete service entries in the system; * Conduct assembly verification (lens quality, scratches, defects, improper fit, excess material) before returning to the service department; * Clean machines daily;
