Master Data Consultant (SAP EWM)

Job Summary: Responsible for managing and governing local master data, ensuring compliance with global standards and promoting continuous process improvement and team development. Key Highlights: 1. Team development and dissemination of best practices **MASTER DATA OWNER \- INTERMEDIATE** Responsible for managing and governing local master data, ensuring compliance with global standards and promoting continuous process improvement. Acts as the liaison between functional areas and data specialists, leading activities related to data migration, creation, and maintenance of master data in SAP (EWM, products, raw materials, suppliers, and customers). Implements Lean practices and quality methodologies such as Kaizen and Six Sigma for process optimization. Leads SAP implementation projects and promotes team development through guidance and dissemination of best practices. **Detailed Description Implements and maintains local master data processes, standards, and monitoring metrics to ensure adoption of the data governance process.** Identifies and mobilizes local data specialists, functional leaders, and analysts, and ensures capability for data migration-related activities. **Acts as the single point of contact and bridges communication with domain specialists. Escalates data-related issues to managers.** Is responsible for data management processes across various domains within the legal entity or locality. **Provides information regarding local systems, data, and processes.** Ensures local compliance with data rules through active engagement with diverse functional teams. **Requests/maintains master data (local data cleansing, profiling, and validation).** Creates, modifies, and maintains SAP master data for the EWM environment. **Creates, modifies, and maintains SAP master data for products, raw materials, suppliers, and customers.** Implements and leads Lean practices for master data process optimization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. **Develops and implements continuous improvements in master data processes, utilizing methodologies such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other quality tools.** Actively participates as a project leader in SAP implementation projects. **Guides colleagues in executing tasks, promoting team development and dissemination of best practices.** Must be committed to the objectives, goals, and programs of VIAPOL’s “Integrated Policy.” **Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.** Must align with and commit to the principles outlined in the 168 Values and Expectations. **Comply with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) procedures and guidelines.** **Qualifications** Advanced Microsoft Office suite SAP EWM knowledge Advanced English proficiency (conversational level) Experience in SAP implementations. **Desirable:** SAP Certified, Agile Wow, Data modeling.
