We have a proactive, collaborative, and autonomous process engineering team empowered to propose and implement daily solutions. We maintain frequent contact with other global plants for benchmarking and promoting the exchange of best practices. We work across various manufacturing processes—including welding, surface treatments, machining, and assembly—providing engineers with broad technical experience. **What You Can Expect as a Process Engineer:** * Develop, analyze, and optimize machining processes to improve productivity, quality, safety, ergonomics, and cost efficiency. * Define appropriate cutting parameters, machining strategies, tools, fixtures, and clamping methods for each process. * Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as manufacturing routings, process sheets, work instructions, workstation layouts, and process FMEAs. * Support the industrialization of new products and engineering modifications—from design phase through to release for mass production. * Monitor try\-outs, process validations, and APQP/PPAP activities, where applicable. * Analyze process performance indicators (OEE, cycle time, scrap, rework) and propose continuous improvement actions. * Specify, evaluate, and approve new equipment, CNC machines, cutting tools, and technical suppliers—considering technical, productivity, and ergonomic criteria. * Train operators and technicians on new processes, work methods, machine adjustments, and safe, ergonomic operating practices. **Your Profile as a Senior Process Engineer:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields. * Preferred: Specialization in Manufacturing, Machining Processes, Industrial Management, Lean Manufacturing, or related areas will be considered a plus. * Experience as a machining process engineer in medium- or large-scale industrial environments. * Proven experience with CNC processes (turning, milling, machining centers, grinding, etc.). * Experience in new product industrialization, process introduction, and industrial transfers. * Experience in mass production environments, preferably in the automotive, metalworking, automotive components, aerospace, or capital goods sectors. * Willingness to work onsite in Sumaré. * Advanced English proficiency. **Why Choose ZF?** * Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Private Pension Plan, Daycare Allowance, Life Insurance, On-site Meal Benefit, Transportation or Parking Benefit, Wellhub (Gympass), Pharmacy Benefit, Profit-Sharing Program (PPR), and Credit Cooperative.
