Join us!** ### **Position Objective** Act as a Data Scientist responsible for transforming operational and strategic data into **actionable insights**, **predictive models**, and **advanced analytics solutions**, supporting **industrial process optimization**, **operational efficiency**, and **data-driven decision-making** across operations. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Identify business problems and **structure data-oriented business cases**, recognizing opportunities for operational improvement and risk reduction * Collect, clean, analyze, and transform large volumes of operational and corporate data into **insights for decision-making** * Develop, train, and maintain **Machine Learning and Deep Learning models** applied to process optimization, system control, and industrial efficiency * Perform **model deployment, versioning, and monitoring** in analytical environments, with extensive use of **Databricks** * Design data pipelines and analytical workflows in **cloud and hybrid environments** * Develop **interactive dashboards and executive reports in Power BI**, translating technical analyses into clear information for business stakeholders * Define analytical strategies and solution architectures for complex data science problems * Collaborate closely with specialists across disciplines (engineering, operations, automation, IT, and business) * Research and evaluate **emerging technologies applicable to the mining sector**, including Data Science, Machine Learning, mathematical modeling, optimization, control, and advanced automation ### **Technical Requirements** * **Proven experience in** Data Science, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning * **Practical knowledge of** Databricks **for model development, deployment, and operation** * **Experience in** data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation * Knowledge of cloud environments and data architecture * Experience with Power BI for building analytical dashboards and reports * Strong foundations in statistics, applied mathematics, and numerical modeling * Programming applied to Data Science (Python or equivalent) ### **Behavioral Competencies** * Strong analytical ability and critical thinking * Results orientation and ability to solve complex problems * Effective communication skills to translate technical analyses into business language * Autonomy, technical curiosity, and a research-oriented mindset * Ability to operate effectively in multidisciplinary and industrial environments Location: Remote
