Contribute features and integrations based on generative AI Below is the updated job description, emphasizing AI: **erural DEV Position** Your **CHALLENGE**, as a Software Developer at erural, is to collaborate in the transformation we are driving in the livestock industry. We are a fast-growing startup that believes technology — increasingly empowered by Artificial Intelligence — is the primary engine of this transformation. With this in mind, your **RESPONSIBILITIES**, as part of erural’s Product team, will include contributing to our products, processes, and team, helping us continue growing and scaling. Therefore, your deliverables will involve: * Participating in product planning processes; * Implementing features in our marketplace, financial (eruralpay), and logistics (eruralway) products; * Implementing screens based on design layouts; * Using AI tools and code copilots (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) as a natural part of the development lifecycle — from conception to deployment; * Contributing to building features and integrations based on generative AI, including autonomous agents and RAG (Retrieval\-Augmented Generation) pipelines applied to the agribusiness context; * Supporting junior developers and interns; * Contributing to continuous improvements for the company’s products and processes. To move forward with you, the following **REQUIREMENTS** apply: * Practical experience in Software Development; * Expertise in at least one web MVC framework; * Ability to plan and develop end\-to\-end web projects; * Active participation in interesting projects; We consider the following as **PLUS**: * Familiarity with using copilots and AI tools daily in development — not out of curiosity, but as a habit. * Knowledge of and/or experience in startups; * Prior work in a multidisciplinary Product team; * Courses/certifications in Development or related fields; * Proficiency in: + **Ruby on Rails**; + **Vue** (or React); * Infrastructure/DevOps; * **Experience developing AI agents** (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar); * **Experience with RAG**, integration with LLMs via API (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.), and embeddings; * Supporting areas (testing, agile methodologies, etc.); As for **BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS**, we expect you to demonstrate: * Passion for solving problems through technology; * Genuine curiosity about AI and eagerness to experiment with and apply the latest advancements; * Spontaneous desire to continuously learn, especially in a field evolving so rapidly; * Autonomous mindset, inclined to seek and propose solutions; * Excellence in execution and commitment to delivery; * Clear and assertive communication; * Humility — respecting others’ space, competencies, and individuality; * A responsible attitude, capable of handling autonomy rather than relying on control or command.
