Key Responsibilities: *Develop and monitor action plans and non-conformance reports * Perform follow-up on corrective and preventive actions * Create and update quality indicators, charts, and technical reports, as well as use measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges * Interpret technical drawings and product specifications * Safety first: demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-accident behaviors in support of our effort to develop a world-class safety culture Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: *Technical education in Mechanical Engineering and/or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (in progress or completed) * Relevant experience for the role, including knowledge of dimensional, visual, and liquid penetrant inspection * Experience with casting, machining, fabrication, rubber, and assembly processes * Knowledge of magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and 3D inspection is desirable * Familiarity with tools such as PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, and SAP ERP QM module are valuable differentiators * Knowledge of quality tools such as 6S, Kaizen, 8D, FMEA, APQP, and capability studies * Standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 (desirable) Founded in 1871, the Weir Group is a leading mining technology company committed to making mineral operations more sustainable, intelligent, and efficient.
