Professional responsible for receiving and providing humanized support to patients and visitors, delivering information, directing them appropriately, scheduling appointments, and managing health insurance plan-related matters.

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION:**
* Receive and provide supportive services to patients, clients, and/or visitors for clinical appointments across various modalities in a humanized manner, delivering necessary information and clarifications;
* Provide telephone support and supply information to patients, clients, and the general public;
* Direct patients, clients, and/or visitors to the appropriate department or professional according to their needs;
* Guide patients on required procedures, such as form completion, referral for exams, admissions, or consultations, in accordance with internal guidelines and protocols.
* Inform patients about their health insurance plans, coverage, authorized procedures, and other relevant information related to health insurance plans.
* Resolve doubts and issues related to patients' health insurance plans, acting as an intermediary between the patient, the health insurance plan, and internal departments of the healthcare institution.
* Identify and verify required documentation for health insurance plan services, including membership cards, prior authorizations, physician referrals, among others.
* Verify and validate patients' health insurance plans, checking eligibility, coverage, and limitations to prevent billing issues and ensure proper use of services by patients.
* Schedule consultations, exams, and procedures, considering patients' preferences and availability, as well as institutional criteria.
* Stay updated on health insurance plan policies, as well as internal procedures and guidelines related to hospital services.
* Monitor patients' and/or clients' billing processes and forward relevant information to the administrative department;
* Comply with internal security regulations, verifying documents and the identity of patients and/or clients, and notifying security personnel about unfamiliar individuals.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Completed high school education;
* Knowledge of health insurance plans and hospital reception routines;
* Experience with MV system is a plus;
* Availability for 12x36 rotating shifts, both daytime and nighttime (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
