Handle urgent and emergency situations involving substation equipment We are looking for a **Transmission Maintenance Operator II**, who will perform local operation maneuvers in coordination with the remote operations team, isolate transmission systems and equipment, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities, monitor operations remotely via telecontrol, observe potential operational anomalies on screen, and submit appropriate reports and actions. **If you are proactive, possess strong interpersonal skills, and seek a dynamic environment for professional growth, this is the place for you!** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities:** * Record abnormalities identified in equipment and recommend corrective and preventive measures; register intervention controls and respective results in the Company's operational system, ensuring data accuracy to generate databases for reporting, KPIs, and performance analysis to support monitoring and decision-making; * Perform maintenance services on protection, transmission, and telecommunications equipment and systems, as well as calibration, electronic maintenance, and special testing on critical-level equipment, in accordance with the Maintenance Plan and unplanned interventions, recording information in the system; * Carry out external and control room operation activities, maintaining constant contact with the telecontrol area; operating electrical and electromechanical installations in transmission assets' substations when required; * Operate equipment such as PTA, Munck, and forklifts, following specific training for each equipment type; * Respond to urgent and emergency situations involving substation (SE) equipment and systems until full restoration is achieved, including maneuvers performed at the SE during preventive and/or corrective maintenance activities; * Implement necessary and requested operational-level actions to comply with the Company's Industrial Control Systems Security Policy; * Adhere strictly to clearly defined internal procedures, documenting difficulties and non-compliance issues, and potentially participating in developing new procedures or revisions alongside leadership and/or the Operations technical team; * Conduct tests and trials on substation equipment. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Prerequisites:** * Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields, with an active CFT (Technical Certification). * Substation equipment and systems — intermediate level. * Health and safety standards and applicable regulations — intermediate level. * Integrated management system — intermediate level. * Maintenance and technical documentation management tools and software — intermediate level. * Reading and interpretation of equipment technical manuals, technical drawings, and flowcharts — intermediate level. * Transmission-related processes and associated equipment and systems — intermediate level. * Maintenance and operation procedures, plans, methods, and techniques — intermediate level. * Computer literacy: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, email — intermediate level. * Various administrative processes and routines within the area of operation — intermediate level. **Desirable Attributes:** * English — basic. **Additional Information** **For you and your dependents.** * Medical and dental plans. **Exclusively for you.** * Meal and/or food allowance; * Transportation allowance; * Private pension plan; * Group life insurance; * Gym / Quality-of-life programs; * Language program; * Variable compensation program. **ENGIE** has been present in Brazil for over 20 years, leading electricity generation in the country and offering innovative services and solutions to its customers.
