And thus, we continue to strengthen our unique BP identity. **Responsibilities and Duties** **What does a typical day look like?** * Safely operate emergency vehicles (ambulances), ensuring the well-being of patients and medical staff while strictly complying with Traffic Legislation and subject to penalties established by law; * Operate ambulances and/or perform transportation and/or patient transfer—including passengers, materials, and organs—according to predetermined routes, assuming full responsibility for the safety and welfare of all individuals involved; * Drive the vehicle to the designated location using the fastest available routes within the pre-established time frame, while fully respecting traffic laws; * Set up on-site signage at the service location using equipment available in the vehicle (cones, flag, flashlight), in accordance with company procedures or any instructions received on site from the responsible party; * Monitor ambulance transport requests via the Service Desk – Ambulances system; organize and schedule services in advance; coordinate necessary services with third-party transportation providers holding active contracts with BP Hospital; and respond promptly to each request; * Record all performed and outsourced transports in the network-based control spreadsheet; * Assist Nursing Technicians and Nurses with procedures as needed, including supporting patient and companion boarding and disembarking; * Maintain external cleanliness of the vehicle and the driver’s cabin; complete daily entries in the incident logbook and any other records implemented by the company; * Perform vehicle checklists—including tools and auxiliary rescue equipment under your responsibility—according to company specifications, verifying their perfect operational condition; manage and send medical oxygen cylinders for refilling, and reinstall them in the vehicle upon return; * Manage and perform vehicle refueling; verify engine lubricating oil level, brake fluid, radiator coolant level, tire conditions, fire extinguisher expiration dates, and other items specified in the checklist; * Safeguard equipment, resources, and materials under your responsibility, as well as the work environment; comply with internal regulations, procedures, corporate policies, and occupational health and safety standards relevant to the department; * Uphold the Institution’s Mission and Strategic Vision; comply with internal regulations, compliance requirements, and quality management systems; adhere to ANS and ANVISA regulations, as well as sector-specific health, hygiene, and occupational safety standards; use PPEs/collective protective equipment (PPE/CPE) whenever required by the activity; * Carry out other duties inherent to the position—or as directed by your immediate supervisor—provided you are qualified and such tasks align with your knowledge and experience; * Understand environmental aspects and impacts related to your activities, as well as applicable legal requirements, supporting initiatives aimed at minimizing environmental impact and improving sustainability to ensure process compliance; * Know and apply Environmental Operational Control Procedures relevant to your area—specifically those concerning liquid effluent waste management, atmospheric emissions, and natural resource usage—to ensure compliance and promote understanding and implementation of routines across all related departments, contributing to achieving established environmental objectives; * Recognize and support emergency situations through participation in—and/or execution of—simulations related to Environmental Emergency Response Plans, and during actual incidents when applicable. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Essential qualifications for this position:** * Completed High School education; * Valid Class D driver’s license plus formal training in Emergency Vehicle Transportation; * Prior experience in related activities. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** 07:00/12:00 to 13:00/19:00 — 36 hrs/week — 180 hrs/month — 12x36 shift pattern — Day Shift B **Work Location:** BP **What We Offer?** Transportation Allowance Meal Voucher On-site Cafeteria Medical Assistance Dental Assistance Childcare Support Total Pass: A benefits platform granting access to gyms and studios across multiple modalities for employees and dependents.
