Collaborate with kitchen assistants and other cooks, supporting food preparation The bar and grill is seeking a Cook in Aracaju (Luzia). **Responsibilities:** Prepare and cook menu items—including meats, grilled dishes, side dishes, and quick-service meals—following recipes and quality standards. Select and prepare ingredients, ensuring hygiene, freshness, and proper food handling. Monitor cooking times and doneness of foods to guarantee flavor, presentation, and appropriate temperature. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen compliant with food safety and hygiene regulations. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and request replenishment of ingredients and materials as needed. Ensure proper operation of stoves, grills, ovens, and other kitchen equipment. Collaborate with kitchen assistants and other cooks by delegating tasks and supporting food preparation. Record incidents related to products, waste, or equipment maintenance needs. Adhere to safety protocols and correct use of utensils and equipment. Support the development of new dishes or menu adaptations as directed by management. Previous experience as Head Chef, Kitchen Assistant, Production Cook, or Industrial Cook may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position. High school diploma required.
