The State Department of Traffic of Sergipe – DETRAN/SE, an agency belonging to the State Public Administration and the Executive Branch of the State of Sergipe, originated from the General Inspectorate of the Civil Guard and Vehicles of the Secretariat of Public Security, with the purpose of implementing the National Traffic Code, approved by Federal Law No. 5\.108 of September 21, 1966\. Through Decree-Law No. 170 of October 21, 1969, it was transformed into the General Department of the Civil Guard and Vehicles, subordinate to the Secretariat of Public Security. Under Law No. 2\.608 of February 27, 1987, which regulates the structure and operation of the State Administration of Sergipe, it was restructured as a state autarchy, as an agency of indirect administration. By Governmental Decree No. 8\.358 of March 30, 1987, its purpose, responsibilities, basic organization, competencies, organizational structure of its agencies, and structural regulations governing its personnel status or legal regime, as well as its patrimonial and financial administration, were defined. Pursuant to the aforementioned Decree, DETRAN/SE is an autarchy integrated within the State Executive Branch’s indirect administration and linked to the State Secretariat of Public Security, with the purpose of planning, coordinating, supervising, controlling, and executing the State Traffic Policy. On February 26, 1992, Law No. 3\.144 established the basic organizational structure of the State Department of Traffic – DETRAN/SE. With the innovations introduced by Law No. 9\.503/97, which instituted the Brazilian Traffic Code and municipalized traffic management, DETRAN/SE assumed exclusively notarial functions, retaining responsibilities for vehicle licensing, registration, inspection, and plate issuance, as well as driver licensing. It applies and collects fines related to infractions within its jurisdiction. Law No. 4\.543/2002 created the State Council of Traffic of Sergipe – CETRAN/SE, a collegiate normative, advisory, and coordinating body component of the National Traffic System, with jurisdiction over the territory of the State of Sergipe and linked to DETRAN/SE. According to Ordinary Law No. 5\.785 of December 22, 2005, Article 2, published in the Official Gazette of the State of Sergipe No. 24\.927 on December 28, 2005, DETRAN/SE was elevated to the status of a Special Autarchy; its basic organizational structure remains in force to this day. As of Law No. 6\.130 of April 2, 2007, Article 49, published in the Official Gazette of the State of Sergipe No. 25\.241 on April 3, 2007, DETRAN/SE, previously linked to the State Secretariat of Public Security, became directly linked to the State Secretariat. According to Law No. 6\.615 of June 18, 2009, Articles 2 and 3, published in the Official Gazette No. 25\.779 on June 18, 2009, and Decree No. 26\.268 of July 1, 2009, which abolished the State Secretariat of Transport and Metropolitan Integration – SETRAM, the State Department of Traffic of Sergipe – DETRAN/SE became linked to the State Secretariat of Public Security – SSP. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assist in creating advertising and promotional campaigns; * Maintain and update social media platforms and communication channels; * Organize and archive promotional materials and reports; * Design graphics, educational leaflets, and informative content for institutional dissemination. **Requirements and Qualifications** Candidates who meet all the following conditions may apply for the selection process, without prejudice to other requirements for internships stipulated in Federal Law No. 11\.788 of September 25, 2008, and other applicable regulations: a) Be duly enrolled and maintaining regular attendance at a Higher Education Institution that has signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement or partnership agreement with this Autarchy; b) Have a weighted general average (WGA) equal to or greater than 6.0 (six); c) Must not be enrolled in the final semester of their undergraduate program. DETRAN/SE, within its competencies, implements the Brazilian Traffic Code and provides Driver Licensing and Vehicle services.
