




Promote, supervise, and ensure the health and safety of company employees by identifying, assessing, and controlling occupational hazards. Guarantee compliance with regulatory standards and current legislation, implementing preventive practices aimed at reducing occupational accidents and diseases. Proactively engage all hierarchical levels in raising awareness about the importance of workplace safety, contributing to the development of an organizational culture focused on preserving employees’ physical and mental integrity, thereby directly supporting a healthy, safe, and productive work environment. Responsibilities include: - Ensuring implementation of PGR / PCMSO / LTCAT actions related to subordinate operations; - Verifying, adapting, monitoring, and tracking Customer Notifications until final resolution; - Controlling resolution of Internal Non-Conformities identified in the field until final resolution; - Conducting internal safety integration and qualification (integration) of employees with the Customer’s SESMT team; - Delivering sector-relevant training for new and periodic employees; conducting (within their competence) training—especially Group Setup safety integration—and organizing and supervising training for partners (third-party contractors); - Presenting the DSS – Weekly Safety Dialogue with Leadership, accompanied by safety performance indicators; - Presenting the DSS – Weekly Safety Dialogue with operational teams, following standard DDS book topics, emerging themes, or situations covered by scheduled action plans; - Presenting safety performance indicators and SESMT Committee actions to Operational Management and for corporate SESMT controls; - Conducting monthly 360-degree field inspections; - Conducting monthly DDS sessions; - Conducting monthly breathalyzer tests; - Performing EPI/EPC checklists; - Conducting vehicle inspections; - Investigating accidents, preparing reports and action plans jointly with responsible leadership, and submitting required reports to control systems and corporate SESMT within 6 days; - Organizing monthly archiving on the Setup SESMT server of all SESMT activity evidence—including training, DDS, inspections, notifications, PEX, APRs, checklists, and other SESMT-related documents—and sending such materials to NEOENERGIA upon request; - Updating EPI/EPC records upon delivery, collection, or replacement of any item; - Immediately halting activities of any employee or team upon identifying imminent and serious risks, hazardous conditions, or unsafe behavior, performing immediate correction or escalating to respective leadership and their hierarchical chains for resolution of non-conformities. Only after resolving impeding non-conformities may the team or involved parties be released, subject to conducting a DDS. - Conducting night inspections when operational teams are active; - Auditing leadership and field team actions, monitoring contact rate for subordinate operations; - Formalizing via email evidence of Resolved Non-Conformities, Impeding Non-Conformities, and Non-Impeding Non-Conformities identified during field inspections, specifying deadlines for responsible parties’ follow-up and tracking until final resolution. RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION REQUIREMENTS: - Completed Occupational Safety Technician course, with active registration at the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE); - Driver’s License Category B; - Preferred: Technology degree in Occupational Safety OR ongoing Engineering degree; - Proficiency in computer applications and Office suite, including intermediate Excel skills; - Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Occupational Safety Technician in the Electric Power Sector, including interaction with SEP (Electric Power System); - Willingness to travel. OPERATIONAL ROUTINE: DAILY: 1. Review daily tasks and scheduled commitments for your team, and plan upcoming days; 2. Conduct DDS and team inspections upon departure from base, with prior alignment with each team’s immediate supervisor; 3. Conduct field inspections with teams, employees, and leadership, coordinating timing and movement in advance with managers of involved teams; 4. Before shift end, formalize via email and group chat evidence of Non-Conformities identified during field inspections, specifying deadlines for responsible parties’ follow-up and tracking until final resolution; 5. Immediately intervene with teams or employees upon identifying risk situations (impeding non-conformities), seeking IMMEDIATE resolution with the immediate supervisor(s) of the involved team(s); if no resolution is achieved, halt the team’s activities and immediately report to the Contract Manager and the immediate SESMT responsible; 6. Verify use of corporate body-worn cameras by teams, including end-of-shift charging, condition assessment, and start-of-shift usage, conducting necessary audits using the camera logbook; 7. Prepare a simplified daily activity report in the WhatsApp SESMT group at end of day. WEEKLY: 1. Conduct breathalyzer tests with team members; update EPI/EPC records; 2. Monitor and track execution of scheduled action plan items for the week, overdue items, and future planning with respective operational leaders; 3. Update inspection and non-conformity control spreadsheet on the server, including status of treated, pending, and overdue non-conformities; 4. Attend internal CIPA or Customer CIPA meetings; 5. Promote EPS Effective Program activities. MONTHLY: 1. Conduct or supervise scheduled training sessions; 2. Archive SESMT information on the server at the beginning of the current month; 3. Store surveillance camera images on the Setup server; 4. Send documents to the utility company upon request; 5. Investigate accidents, prepare reports and action plans jointly with responsible leadership; 6. Conduct night and weekend inspections.
