We do the right thing—today and for generations to come. **Job Purpose and Impact** -------------------------- The Junior Litigation Attorney will provide legal support to Cargill’s various business areas in Brazil, focusing on managing and monitoring litigation across multiple areas of law (excluding tax law). Responsibilities include supporting the conduct of judicial proceedings, internally managing the litigation portfolio, interfacing with and monitoring the performance of external law firms, and contributing to risk mitigation and legal compliance. This position will directly impact the quality of legal advisory services provided to the company, delivering analyses and recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making. The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong technical and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring alignment with corporate policies and applicable legislation. #LI-EV1 #LI-Onsite **Key Accountabilities** ------------------------ * Assist attorneys by conducting legal research and analyzing documents and information for day-to-day legal work. * Assess risks associated with litigation and their potential impact on the business. * Represent the company in judicial proceedings across diverse legal topics. * Manage the litigation portfolio, deadlines, and third-party law firms. * Manage internal, procedural information and record data in internal systems. * Liaise with internal clients, third-party law firms, and auditors. * Prepare internal and external reports. * Understand all procedural acts—from initiation to conclusion—of judicial proceedings. * Represent Cargill in hearings before various courts and effectively manage conflicts while applying sound judgment in legal advice. * Participate in internal investigations and investigations conducted by public authorities. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** ------------------ * Bachelor’s degree in Law. * Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). * Language: Advanced English. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Experience in corporations and/or law firms, working as a litigation attorney. * Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools—desirable. * Knowledge of litigation management systems, as well as experience developing and analyzing reports and metrics—desirable. * Postgraduate degree in related fields is a plus.
