




Curitiba, Brazil Permanent 80\-100% On-site This is where you will shine * Responsible for the technical aspects of small projects related to your area of expertise; * Approval of projects based on customer expectations; * Technical project management, participation in project meetings with functional team members, suppliers and/or customers; * Project budget allocation as well as definition of required technical specifications for purchase order preparation, monitoring of work schedules, preparation of documentation required for the implementation process, and collection of feedback and best practices; * Support the Project Manager to ensure correct project execution according to Bühler Project Management procedures and provide technical support to Claims and Non-Conformance Management; * Define all necessary technical specifications for purchase orders related to project execution; * Resolve questions or issues arising during project execution and manufacturing, as well as during installation; * Monitor work schedules to ensure all project steps are executed completely and on time; * Prioritize and manage working hours to maintain planned working hours and delivery dates within the project schedule; * Manage engineering department activities to ensure timely issuance of purchase orders, avoiding the need for subsequent orders; * Responsible for the budget allocated to your portion of the project, including cost and quality of subcontracted projects; * Prepare documentation required for the implementation process; * Verify any scope deviations in the Bühler CAQ system; * Create work modules that can be transferred to other engineering locations; * Collect feedback and best practices, implement lessons learned, promote and conduct a review meeting. These are the skills you’ll need * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Designer or equivalent proven qualification; * Knowledge of industrial layout design; * Understanding of manufacturing principles and industrial processes; * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and mechanical layout; * Advanced knowledge of 3D modeling software; * Advanced Microsoft Office suite; * Advanced English; * Ability to lead and collaborate with international engineering teams (Desirable); * Knowledge of the food industry segment, such as wheat mills, biscuit factories, and general ingredient handling (Desirable).
