Job Summary: Responsible for directing crane/hoist operators to ensure safe cargo handling, communicating movements, and guaranteeing the safety of the work area. Key Highlights: 1. Direct crane/hoist operators 2. Ensure safe cargo handling 3. Ensure a clear and safe work area **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Direct crane/hoist operators using specific hand signals or radio communication for cargo handling, controlling load weight and securing conditions, including sling and locking devices; Communicate to equipment operators which movements to perform, when to start and when to stop, and ensure cargo is moved safely to prevent collisions and other accidents; Ensure the work area is clear and safe, and that safety guidelines are followed during lifting operations. **REQUIREMENTS:** 16-hour Crane Signalman and/or Mini-Crane Operator Course – Certification – Completed **WORK SCHEDULE:** Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM **BENEFITS:** Transportation allowance \+ Dental plan \+ 4% discount on purchasing a real estate development.
