Using QGIS, Google Earth, and geoprocessing **JOB DESCRIPTION: ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYST** **Îandére Engenharia Sustentável – Aracaju/SE** The Îandére Engenharia Sustentável is seeking an **Environmental Analyst** to provide technical support for environmental activities, study preparation, monitoring of licensing conditions, field analyses, and conducting environmental licensing processes. We seek a candidate with an **analytical, proactive, responsible, and systemic mindset**, capable of working autonomously and contributing to high-quality environmental solutions. This person will be responsible for ensuring that environmental tasks are executed with technical accuracy, organization, and compliance with current regulations, directly supporting projects, clients, and regulatory agencies. **Main Responsibilities** Support and conduct **environmental licensing processes** (Preliminary License, Installation License, Operation License, renewals, and simplified licenses); Prepare **technical reports**, environmental studies, PRADs (Environmental Risk Assessment Plans), field analyses, and documents for competent authorities; Conduct **environmental surveys** (fauna, flora, water resources, effluents, waste, impacts); Use tools such as **QGIS, Google Earth, and geoprocessing** for analysis and map creation; Monitor **environmental conditions**, tracking deadlines and implementing required actions; Participate in technical visits, inspections, sampling, and environmental audits; Assist in developing action plans, diagnostics, and technical recommendations; Stay updated on legislation, standards, and current environmental practices; Maintain technical dialogue with clients, municipal governments, and environmental agencies when necessary; Support sustainability projects, reverse logistics, and related topics; Contribute solutions integrating **social, environmental, and economic variables**, where applicable. **Requirements** Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Geography, or related fields; Prior experience with environmental licensing (support or lead role); Proficiency in **Google Earth**, and knowledge of **QGIS/geoprocessing**; Ability to prepare clear and well-organized technical reports; Strong communication skills, responsibility, and attention to detail; Willingness to conduct field visits and occasional travel. **Preferred Qualifications** Experience with PRAD, environmental monitoring, fauna/flora, or water resources; Experience in environmental impact analysis and reverse logistics; Knowledge of AutoCAD (even basic level); Familiarity with sustainability and environmental innovation projects; Experience interacting with environmental agencies (ADEMA, SEMARH, IBAMA, etc.). **Expected Behavioral Traits** Proactivity and autonomy in problem solving; Organization, responsibility, and critical thinking; Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple concurrent demands; Holistic vision, technical reasoning, and investigative attitude; Clear communication, collaborative posture, and openness to feedback; Emotional maturity and resilience when facing challenges. **Job Conditions** **Salary:** To be negotiated.
