Job Summary:
An attendant is responsible for customer service, organization, food and product preservation, and environmental cleaning.

The primary responsibility is customer service; however, an attendant also performs other important tasks that affect service quality, product and food organization, placement, preservation, and environmental cleanliness and hygiene.
* Clean shelves, trays, utensils, floors, counters, tables, and chairs;
* + Organize products on shelves, trays, display cases, utensils, tables, and chairs;
+ Check product expiration dates and remove expired items;
+ Restock products and food on shelves;
+ Monitor food inventory levels to ensure timely restocking before depletion;
+ Serve and record customer orders at the counter;
+ Prepare, package, and price customer orders;
+ Restock bags and packaging supplies for customer use;
+ Inform management about supplies, products, and materials requiring inventory replenishment;
+ Report customer complaints and suggestions to management;
+ Package food and label with expiration date, price, or product code;
+ Study and learn product codes and types for effective service;
+ Provide information and guidance to customers regarding products and food;
+ Familiarize with products and types of food offered to customers;
+ Know products produced for customers with dietary restrictions (lactose-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, etc.);
+ Identify promotional products and mark them with updated prices;
+ Operate deli slicers and bread slicers to prepare customer orders;
+ Weigh and price-label customer orders;
+ Know manufacturing and expiration dates to inform customers and remove products prior to expiration.
