Professional and personal development through training *We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team. Based in Sorocaba, Boa Vista unit, you will be responsible for:* Team Overview and Responsibilities: This position is tasked with operating equipment belonging to one or more stages of the optical fiber manufacturing process, thereby ensuring product quality, as well as performing activities required to meet environmental needs relevant to your area, by following pre\-established instructions and procedures. Main Responsibilities: * Operate equipment relevant to PCVD/RIT, Drawing Tower, and/or Measuring production processes, manipulating control devices, observing and monitoring equipment operation, thereby contributing to optical fiber production. * Verify process parameters on respective checklists prior to commencing operations, observing and adhering to pre\-established guidelines to achieve desired outcomes. * Complete Equipment Process Control Sheets and enter necessary "inputs" into the integrated information system, ensuring up\-to\-date information is available to stakeholders and providing support to the immediate supervisor for decision\-making. * Monitor activities inherent to the Production Area, anticipating potential issues and identifying abnormalities in equipment or the optical fiber manufacturing process, thereby notifying the immediate supervisor so they may investigate and take appropriate action to prevent qualitative or quantitative production decline. * Interpret tables and graphs related to equipment operation during the optical fiber manufacturing process, requesting guidance from the immediate supervisor whenever necessary to correctly perform tasks. * Complete shift handover documentation with pertinent information regarding quantity and other relevant data about optical fiber produced during the shift, reporting production performance to the immediate supervisor and involved personnel. * Pay attention to received Occupational Health and Safety instructions, follow guidelines, and use designated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), thereby safeguarding your own safety and that of your colleagues. * Contribute to organizing and cleaning the Production Area premises, maintaining tools and instruments in orderly fashion, and assisting in debris removal. * Understand and comply with procedures and instructions for disposal of industrial waste relevant to your area, as well as generate and complete all documentation required for proper functioning of the Environmental Management System. * Participate in internal and external training sessions as needed and upon direction from the immediate supervisor, pursuing professional and personal development through technical enhancement and updating. * Collaborate in maintaining the Quality and Environmental Management Systems adopted by the Company, becoming familiar with pre\-established instructions and procedures applicable to your area of responsibility, and ensuring their implementation. * Perform other related professional duties inherent to this position, as directed and requested by the immediate supervisor. * Know and understand Prysmian’s HSE policy and procedures; * Comply with legal and company HSE requirements, as well as SGS/SGS requirements, according to your competence and based on received awareness and training; * Protect the environment and report HSE\-related incidents and unsafe conditions to the direct responsible person and/or HSE. *Who Are We Looking For?* * Completed high school education. *Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
