We are seeking a professional responsible for planning and delivering Geography classes, fostering critical understanding of geographical space, socio-environmental relationships, cultural diversity, natural transformations, and the economic and political dynamics of the contemporary world. **Responsibilities:** * Plan and deliver Geography classes in accordance with the curriculum matrix, the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC), and the institution’s pedagogical project. * Stimulate critical thinking and geographical analysis of natural, social, cultural, political, and economic phenomena. * Use active learning methodologies and technological resources, such as digital whiteboards, digital maps, georeferencing software, and online platforms. * Apply diverse assessment tools (formative, summative, diagnostic) focused on developing skills and competencies. * Develop interdisciplinary projects related to topics such as sustainability, urbanization, migration, globalization, and climate change. * Participate in pedagogical meetings, class councils, continuing education sessions, and collective planning. * Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as knowledge fairs, exhibitions, workshops, and educational field trips. * Promote values such as civic awareness, environmental responsibility, respect for differences, and appreciation of territory. * Ensure appropriate use of teaching resources, cartographic materials, and school spaces employed in pedagogical practices. * Record and monitor students’ academic progress, collaborating with the pedagogical team to implement interventions and provide pedagogical support. * Keep files and documentation up to date for organizational purposes and compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). * Carry out other duties relevant to the area, as directed by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Geography.
