Based in Sorocaba, Boa Vista unit, you will be responsible for:* Team Overview and Responsibilities: This position is responsible for operating equipment belonging to one or more stages of the optical fiber manufacturing process, thereby ensuring product quality, as well as performing activities required to meet environmental needs pertinent to your area, by following pre\-established instructions and procedures. Main Responsibilities: * Operate equipment relevant to PCVD/RIT, Drawing Tower and/or Measuring production processes, manipulating control devices, observing and monitoring their operation, thereby contributing to optical fiber production. * Verify process parameters on respective checklists prior to commencing operations, observing and following pre\-established guidelines to achieve desired results. * Complete Equipment Process Control Sheets and enter necessary "inputs" into the integrated information system, providing updated information to stakeholders and supporting the immediate supervisor’s decision\-making. * Monitor activities inherent to the Production Area, anticipating potential issues and identifying abnormalities in equipment or the optical fiber manufacturing process, reporting them to the immediate supervisor to enable verification and appropriate corrective actions to prevent qualitative or quantitative production decline. * Interpret tables and graphs related to equipment operation during the optical fiber manufacturing process, seeking guidance from the immediate supervisor whenever necessary for correct task execution. * Record shift handover information, including quantity and other relevant data regarding optical fiber produced during the shift, to report production performance to the immediate supervisor and involved personnel. * Pay attention to received Occupational Health and Safety instructions, follow guidance, and use designated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), thereby safeguarding personal and colleagues’ safety. * Contribute to organization and cleanliness of the Production Area, orderly storing tools and instruments used, and assisting in removal of debris. * Know and comply with industrial waste disposal procedures and instructions pertinent to your area, as well as generate and complete all documentation required for effective Environmental Management System operation. * Participate in internal and external training sessions, as required and directed by the immediate supervisor, pursuing professional and personal development through technical enhancement and updating. * Collaborate in maintaining adopted Quality Management and Environmental Management Systems, becoming familiar with pre\-established instructions and procedures for the area of operation, and ensuring their implementation. * Perform other professional duties related to and inherent in this position, as instructed and requested by the immediate supervisor. * Know and understand Prysmian’s HSE policy and procedures; * Comply with legal and company HSE requirements, and SGS/SGS requirements, according to your competence and awareness/training received; * Protect the environment and report HSE\-related incidents and unsafe conditions to the direct responsible person and/or HSE. *Who are we looking for?** High school diploma completed. *Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
