Contributes to the preparation of technical and financial reports **PROJECT CONTEXT AND DESCRIPTION:** AVSI Brasil is a non-profit civil society organization, founded in 2007, focused on improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations. It works in partnership with international cooperation actors, public sector entities, and the private sector. Affiliated with the Italian NGO AVSI Foundation—which has been active in Brazil since the 1980s—AVSI Brasil’s mission is to promote people’s protagonism in their own development, as well as that of their families and communities. It implements social projects based on an integral and solidarity-based development methodology, oriented toward autonomy and human dignity. **BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:** The Program Advisor works under the supervision of the Agreement Manager, in coordination with the organization’s technical and administrative teams, supporting the implementation and monitoring of planned activities. Responsibilities include supporting activity organization and monitoring, collaborating in the systematization of information and processes, tracking indicators and targets, and contributing to the preparation of technical and financial reports. The Program Advisor also supports the preparation of information and documents required for internal and external audits, always under the guidance of the Agreement Manager. The role involves close collaboration with the Agreement Manager and other departments involved in agreement execution, contributing to smooth operational progress and strengthening the organization’s local presence. **MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** Participate in discussions on administrative and operational strategies with the Agreement Manager, aiming to ensure management decisions comply with rules agreed upon with funders; Support liaison and exchange with funders within the scope of assigned responsibilities, and facilitate dialogue between the branch office and the organization’s national headquarters, as well as with project-related actors/funders; Monitor and ensure application of the organization’s administrative management procedures (HR, Accounting, Finance, Financial Reporting, and Procurement), as well as those stipulated by funders; Support project agreement management based on the agreement submitted by the funder, providing updates on project progress to the Agreement Manager whenever necessary; Monitor procurement processes, service provision, and recurring payments, as well as estimate future expenditures and remittance needs; Support and monitor the HR department in disseminating and guiding staff on the organization’s Ethics and Conduct policies; Jointly with the Agreement Manager, contribute to drafting administrative and financial project documents for approval by the National Directorate; Support project coordinations in preparing periodic management reports, focusing on measuring results against indicators agreed upon with the funder; Participate in periodic meetings with the Agreement Manager to update and monitor operational and strategic needs; Maintain regular contact with the Agreement Manager and data focal points for collecting and updating information intended for reporting; Under the supervision of the Agreement Manager, share data collection requirements based on the agreement established with the funder; Participate in budget monitoring and propose replanning in coordination with the Agreement Manager; Monitor and support financial reporting oversight, verifying compliance with funder requirements; Prepare documents for financial verification and project audit; Collaborate to ensure the quality of external audits and financial verifications of projects, in partnership with funders; Support the organization of national headquarters missions whenever required, particularly regarding preparation of financial reports and review of financial statements; Participate, when requested, in meetings with funders on strategy and management aspects, jointly with the Agreement Manager; Monitor correct completion of mission forms and documents, ensuring records necessary for financial reporting; Support preparation of periodic project management reports; Support preparation of expense reports for monthly expenditure reporting to the funder; Prepare the managerial code report required for payroll payments; Support HR in monitoring staff promotions and position changes; Carry out other related tasks assigned by the Agreement Manager and General Manager as needed.
