Committed to quality and customer satisfaction, it consistently strives to exceed expectations. **What will you do in this role?:** Perform corrective maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical failures in industrial machinery (extruders, mills, fans, mixers, gearboxes, etc.). Perform preventive maintenance, follow inspection schedules, lubrication, bearing replacements, belt and bushing replacements, gasket replacements, and general adjustments. Weld, cut, and fabricate simple parts; perform TIG/MIG/arc welding, cutting, minor machining operations, or component adaptations. Assemble and align mechanical systems, bearings, shafts, couplings, gearboxes, and power transmission systems. Monitor equipment operation after intervention to ensure repairs are effective and machines resume operation within standard parameters. Organizational and Control Activities: Create and maintain maintenance records, noting dates, defects identified, parts replaced, and downtime (maintenance work orders). Organize the workshop and spare parts inventory, identify critical items, prevent part shortages, and maintain a clean and functional environment. Support development of the preventive maintenance plan, define maintenance frequencies, checklists, and machine priorities. Request materials and parts proactively, anticipate needs to avoid prolonged equipment downtime.
