Assist with aircraft arrivals and departures, and perform aircraft cleaning when required. **This position is exclusively for the Boa Vista Airport (BVB)!** ---------------------------------------------------------------------- **Responsibilities and Duties** * Supervise aircraft during arrivals and departures; * Verify and supervise baggage and cargo labels; * Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft according to the Client Manual or dnata’s MGO; * Sort baggage and cargo volumes into airport sorting areas by reading identification labels (with or without technological assistance), ensuring loading onto appropriate storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) for correct flights; * Load baggage and cargo into aircraft holds following standards and procedures outlined in the MGO, including special handling recommendations (fragile, hazardous, live animals, perishable items); * Unload baggage and cargo by reading volume identification labels and place them at designated locations (baggage reclaim carousels); * Sort baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate flight connections by reading volume identification labels; * Inspect and monitor baggage and cargo packaging to verify compliance with transport requirements, ensuring flight and handler safety; * Correctly handle and allocate baggage and cargo into aircraft holds, observing internal restraint and hold height safety limits; * Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers and place them at designated locations; * Guide non-motorized equipment during docking procedures to prevent fuselage collisions; * Perform aircraft handling within established timeframes for each handling type and airport classification; * Conduct pre-use checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety and report equipment requiring repair to the GSE Technical team; * Report any equipment anomalies during operations to supervisors. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Strong interpersonal communication skills; * Analytical ability in assessing situations; * Stress resilience; Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, upper and lower limb articulation, bipedal standing posture for performing tasks, trunk rotation and flexion, physical effort, and ambulation throughout the entire operational area.
