JUNIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ANALYST \- BACKEND Key Responsibilities Develop and test backend services using Java and Spring Boot under supervision Participate in designing and consuming RESTful APIs Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality solutions Participate in code reviews and implement feedback from colleagues Support investigation and resolution of bugs Contribute to technical documentation Learn and apply best software development practices Required Qualifications ✓ 1\-2 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot (or solid academic/personal project experience) ✓ Practical knowledge of REST APIs and microservices fundamentals ✓ Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) \- basic queries and CRUD operations ✓ Experience with Git and version control in small/medium projects ✓ Understanding of clean code principles and basic knowledge of design patterns ✓ Experience or willingness to work in Agile/Scrum environments ✓ Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team ✓ Basic knowledge of automated testing (JUnit) Nice-to-Have Qualifications * Knowledge of microservices * Familiarity with Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA * Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Knowledge of Docker and containerization * Experience with automated testing (Mockito) * Participation in open-source projects * Java or Spring certifications Company Overview Serasa Experian is Brazil's first and largest Datatech company. Job Description You will develop backend features with support from more experienced team members, continuously learning and growing. You will work in collaborative, value-driven teams, contributing to robust and scalable solutions for our clients. Participate in implementing backend services following predefined technical and architectural standards. Develop well-written and tested features aligned with product direction and team technical standards. Document and maintain specifications, source code, and resources related to developed features. Participate in code reviews, absorbing best practices and contributing a quality-focused perspective from your squad. Attend planning and delivery tracking meetings. Develop written and verbal communication skills, learning how to clearly present technical information to diverse audiences. Participate in the backend chapter as an opportunity for learning and exchanging experiences with other professionals. Demonstrate curiosity, proactivity, and eagerness to learn in challenging and ambiguous situations. Qualifications * Knowledge of Java and familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus. * Understanding of REST API design and implementation. * Familiarity with cloud concepts and containerization using Docker. * Basic knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases. * Willingness to learn about code quality best practices and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Nice-to-Have Qualifications * Some exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, SQS, or SNS. * Basic knowledge of Python or Golang. * Collaborative, adaptable profile with strong desire for continuous learning.
