The Associação Amigos Metroviários dos Excepcionais (AME) is an organization dedicated to social inclusion and the development of innovative solutions that promote autonomy and quality of life. Within the AME Lab division, Anglis was conceived—a technology integrating hardware, the Internet of Things (IoT), and advanced applications—designed to provide safety and independence for elderly individuals and/or people with reduced mobility in their homes. Anglis embodies AME’s commitment to uniting technological innovation with positive social impact. **Responsibilities and Duties** Develop and continuously evolve the Anglis platform, ensuring solution quality and scalability. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle—from conception through delivery and maintenance. Contribute to integration across system components, ensuring efficient communication among applications, devices, and services. Support deployment processes, environment maintenance, and solution performance monitoring. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (product, research, design, and hardware) to align requirements and deliver high-impact features. Document implementations, processes, and best practices to promote standardization and technical clarity. Participate in field testing and support diagnostics to ensure solution reliability and security. Follow version control and code review practices, contributing to continuous improvement of software quality. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Required Knowledge:** ➢ Develop computer vision features in Python using predefined models (YOLO, pose estimation, depth). ➢ Develop machine learning pipelines—including neural networks, image annotation, integrations with LLM APIs and local LLMs. ➢ Implement and maintain microservices and image/event processing routines. ➢ Build data analyses using Pandas and NumPy for event interpretation and time-series analysis. ➢ Optimize performance of existing pipelines (threads, parallelism, efficient resource usage). ➢ Integrate Intelbras cameras into the system via snapshot and RTSP, following established standards. ➢ Develop frontend components in React and resolve navigation and layout issues. ➢ Support deployments and environment maintenance on AWS (EC2, Nginx, Node, SSL). ➢ Follow Git version control practices and participate in code reviews. ➢ Document implementations, adjustments, and technical processes. **Desirable:** ➢ Maintain and evolve ESP32-S3 and ESP32-C6 firmware (data capture, buffers, MQTT, OTA). ➢ Integrate and test diverse IoT sensors. ➢ Contribute to the full edge → API → analytics → dashboard workflow. ➢ Practical knowledge of edge computing and image stream manipulation. ➢ Experience with essential protocols (MQTT, HTTP, RTSP) in IoT scenarios. ➢ Support field testing, sensor validation, and diagnostic assistance. ➢ Familiarity with Linux for log analysis, permissions management, and service administration. ➢ Ability to understand and work with the ANGLIS data model (events, states, temporal sequences). **Additional Information** Contract as self-employed professional (PJ/MEI) Working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday Work format: Remote **Join AME and transform lives with us!** The **Associação de Amigos Metroviários dos Excepcionais – AME** is a non-profit organization founded in 1990 by employees of São Paulo Metro.
